This week I’d like to focus a little more on stroke to give the workouts more of a variety. I know that a lot of beginner swimmers may shy away from trying stroke sets, but with some drills and practice it can really give your shoulders a break from straight freestyle swimming.

Today’s workout will be more of a basis to gauge how your strokes are doing, but I will be posting two more workouts this week that will focus heavily on different drills to incorporate. I’ll also be posting some drill/stroke guides to help you along.
